The wine is a deep plum color and followed by classic notes of sage, blackcurrant, brandied apple, dark cocoa, candied pecans, and baking spices . Gorgeous on the palate, with full-bodied richness yet considerable elegance and purity. It has ripe rounded tannins, silky mouthfeel, and a long finish.
