2019 Impetuous is hand-made at Checkerboard Vineyards from the same wine lots produced for its acclaimed portfolio. The aromatics transport you to our mountainside in Napa Valley where four small vineyards dot the landscape between patches of forest, allowing grapes to slowly ripen in the sun. The 2019 vintage is a fresh fruit explosion. There's oodles of Bing cherry, wild blackberry, and cassis along with caramel, savory herbs, blueberry, and white rock.
