Our first ever Cabernet Sauvignon from the very AVA that put the Napa Valley on the map back in 1976! This distinct sub-appellation is home to the likes of Regusci, Realm, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars and many more. Beyond the incredible history, wines hailing from this small valley within the valley are often described as "an iron first in a velvet glove".
Lively and luring aromas of sweet red fruit, unctuous plum, damp asphalt and crushed violet petals make for a complex and layered nose complimenting a medium-plus body showing blackberry, cream de cassis, Mission fig, black licorice and smoked cardamom. Sturdy tannins and vibrant acidity carry the long mouthwatering finish. A truly singular and special bottling from the Stags Leap region.
